So lets just blame the keeper
Yeah Roberto is not very good. Although if he'd not been at fault for the 2 goals and not made very good saves on 3 or 4 occasions we'd have lost by more.
But our squad yesterday had 11 internationals in it. Not one of them showed why. Burnley's squad had 4 internationals in it, two of them being Joe Hart and Aaron Lennon.
Their manager has them playing with heart and commitment, he paced the line barking out instructions. Ours didn't.
But it's still Roberto's fault.
Blaming the board, or the stadium, or the nouvelle fans is just papering over it. There's no heart in our team and I can't see that changing.
It's those North London cunts next game, who haven't won away yet this season. We all know whats gonna happen there.
I'd love to end by saying Come On You Irons, but at the moment it's more like Come On You Wimps.

Re: So lets just blame the keeper
Problems in last 7 games...
Poor defence...
Weak midfield...
Not enough goals scored...
And incompetent keeper

Plus MP's inability to select, organise and motivate a highly paid squad

So, I walked into a sports bar in plovdiv and they are showing the whole of the shambles I missed. Blatant foul for the punch into the net. Burnley player looks at him and eases him off a couple inches hence the punch into the net. Bring in VAR I say. Oh, hold on!

A keeper under no pressure doesn't make mistakes. It's down to our useless clowns to keep the ball away from our goal.

Players also need to trust the person alongside and behind them, it looks like they have no trust in Roberto. We'll see if anything improves with Martin in goal against Spurs.

Win games as well by scoring.

It's not just the keeper.

Has there been a single West Ham fan that has said we're playing well, our problem is just the keeper?

Re: So lets just blame the keeper
If your keeper is dodgy you don't let the opposition have 14 shots.

I don't have any confidence in Roberto but the whole team were hopeless. Lazy, clueless, lacking basic skills, rubbish.

Re: So lets just blame the keeper
our problems are all over the pitch. I really thought Central Defence was somewhere we could at least say we had no problems, then I look at Balbuena's performance yesterday. He was the main culprit, simply the worst outfield player by a mile. surely he has to be dropped?
Our attack is futile. Anderson is so ineffective this season, we try to pass through defences and get it pinched every single time. Our service to an isolated Haller is woeful. Hard to see him here Next season.
Our midfield....hang on what midfield? Now Noble and Lanzini are injured that hole just gets bigger. Rice will be off no doubt. We 2-3 midfielders next summer.

So yes Roberto is woeful and he's going to cost us at least one goal per game most probably, but he's being exposed by an unmotivated headless performances from those playing in front of him.

This is West Ham though, we lurch from crisis to crisis without ever seeming to learn from it

What's my opinion of the other players? They're fucking brilliant. They're all so great I'm shocked to my core that we keep being thrashed.

It's all Roberto's fault. All of it.

He could have caught that ball with one hand while standing on his head but we would never ever in a million years have got a point or more yesterday they were fucking appalling and an embarrassment 👍

Texas Iron 3:23 Sun Nov 10
Re: So lets just blame the keeper
Of he'd caught the ball instead of punching...
We might have had a chance of a point...or more...
He rarely catches...
Major defect ...
